In Full Bloom

Well, it is 95 degrees outside and I am almost 8 months preggo. Yes, I'm feeling most all of the "side effects" of the "condition" in FULL force! If my back and hips would cooperate I would almost say that I feel pretty good, considering the condition. I'm going to physical therapy 2 times a week to work on getting my back stronger as well as my hips. My back is fair, my hips have NO strength at all. The physical therapist described that to compensate for my back I probably walk off kilter, which I already knew, and this can throw my hips out of whack. She has been working with me on several strengthening exercises for my hips. I don't feel better yet but hopefully I will. I do love to get into the pool though. I'm weightless! Being in the pool is the only time that I feel complete relief except for when I'm in the dromedary drop position. That is down on my hands and knees where the baby sort of "hangs" and relieves all pressure from my spine.

Quincy is moving all of the time now. I feel his arms and legs much more than before although I can't distinguish what is what! I'm getting really excited about meeting him. I really like to sit in my new chair (which is in Quincy's room) and just relax. I daydream about what he will be like and how much our lives will change. I'm still amazed by it all. Monday I have my next OB appointment and will post more then.
