My Eye Sore

A few weekends ago I went garage shopping with my friends Holly and Krystal. They are super bargain shoppers and really fun to shop with. Each of us had a few items that we were looking for...I was hunting for some type of chest that I could use as a changing table for the baby's room. So we were at our last stop of the day when we came upon a wonderful sale. It was small but had lots of great stuff. Holly found a one time used bread maker (a fancy name brand that I would have never recognized) that sells retail for about $300. She paid $40. I saw this really ugly chair in the corner and kept walking. Next thing I know Krystal is kicked back with her feet propped up and loving it. It reclined to where her feet came up high. I had to try it next. It didn't take over 2 seconds before falling in love with this comfort! Like I mentioned, it was really ugly. Think 1970's retro mod chair. It was light grey/blue leather. Needless to say, I gave them $35 and walked away with the best bargain ever! It was a $1500 chair! It is still an eye sore, but I totally love it. It plugs in to recline and wait for it.....vibrate! And, it even has a blood pressure cuff attached to the back of it. Can you say perfect for pregnancy or what? Or geriatrics! It actually looks good in Quincy's room. The decor in his room is sort of mod and the leather blends nicely with the walls so it doesn't stand out like it did in the garage! By the way, no comments are necessary on this post! Just kidding!
