Parent Unit

Yesterday we got our baby monitor. We were reading about it and it referred to the home unit, or base unit that goes near the baby as well as the 2 parental units. I can't believe that John and I are going to be parents. We are parental units, wow! Last night we were listening to the game and I had some Orajel medicine in my hand. When I get anxious, I get ulcers...anyway, I had a little on my fingers left and I let Jack and Bella lick it off. We laughed so hard. Cruel, I know. But I really needed the laugh. They were licking the air, totally confused. I was wishing that I could slather that stuff all over my body and be numb for a little while. I guess I will get my full body Orajel medicine in the form of an epidural soon. We love our dogs, we really do, we just needed some comedic relief. John said, "we are going to be great parents". I agree:)
